Music has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up taking piano lessons and singing in choir, and later picked up the guitar. I’ve always loved teaching others, so becoming an elementary music teacher was a natural fit for me.

In high school, I was part of a jazz band and choir, and we performed at venues all over the state. After graduation, I studied music education at the University of Missouri.
Since then, I’ve been teaching elementary music in the public schools, and also working as a freelance musician. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my family, and playing with my two cats.
